HILL TAKES POINTS IN BRANDS BTCC FINALE
At the end of a frantic 30-race Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season at Brands Hatch, Subaru driver Ashley Sutton was crowned overall Champion after a tussle with BMW’s Colin Turkington. Meanwhile 23 year-old local hero Jake Hill, from nearby Goudhurst, once again starred in qualifying and took hard-earned points in the final race.
Finishing practice 7th, Hill’s TAG Racing crew worked to ensure the #24 machine was in top-form for qualifying, BRDC ‘Rising Star’ Hill charging to a spectacular 8th overall, the fifth time in ten events he had achieved this during the season.

Hill Strong in BTCC Qualifying at Brands Hatch finale
Taking his fourth top-ten qualifying spot of the ten race Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, 23 year-old BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill swept his TAG Racing VW CC to a superb 8th overall at the Brands Hatch series finale.
Hill built on his 7th place in practice, and worked on improving the Team HARD-run machine, and in a chaotic session which started with rain falling, featured Red Flags for Brett Smith and Josh Cook’s incidents, saw race-winner Rob Collard withdraw on medical grounds, and mechanical dramas for championship contender Colin Turkington, Hill knew it would be tough to challenge at the front.

HILL STORMS TO BEST-EVER BTCC QUALIFYING AT SILVERSTONE
After showing promise in free practice, TAG Racing’s Jake Hill put in a superb lap to place his Team HARD-run VW CC a storming 5th overall - his best-ever qualifying in his Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship career so far.
Hill set a 58.817 lap time at ‘the home of British Motorsport’ - initially placing the car P4 but being narrowly eclipsed by three-time BTCC Champion Matt Neal’s manufacturer Honda Civic Type R late on in the session.

Hill's Rockingham BTCC Battles
Rockingham’s unique challenge of part-oval and part twisty and abrasive tarmac provided TAG Racing’s Jake Hill with a real challenge in the latest Dunlop MSA BTCC event in Northamptonshire.
After a bruising encounter at Knockhill last time out, 23 year-old Hill was given a penalty after contact with Senna Proctor late on in the final race in Scotland, resulting in Hill having to start at the back of the grid for race one at Rockingham.

SCOTTISH BTCC HOPES FOR SNETTERTON STAR HILL
BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill heads north to tackle the sweeps and leaps at the tight Knockhill circuit near Dunfermline, keen to build on his best-ever BTCC race weekend last-time out at Snetterton.
TAG Racing’s 23 year-old star driver Hill took three points finishes with a best of 6th in race one, and moved into 6th in the closely-fought ‘Independant’s’ category, having taking P2, P3 and P4 in class in the three races.

HILL STORMS TO BEST BTCC WEEKEND YET
TAG Racing’s BRDC ‘Rising Star’ Jake Hill returned to Dunlop MSA BTCC action in emphatic style after the six-week summer break, taking a season’s best P6 in race one, and scoring his best-ever haul of points across three races.
After technical issues in practice limited Hill’s #24 VW Passat CC to only a handful of laps, a huge effort saw him qualify an excellent P11, just 0.010 seconds ahead of team-mate Michael Epps, and fifth of the ‘Independent' drivers.

HILL STRONG IN SNETTERTON BTCC QUALIFYING
After a challenging start to the day, TAG Racing’s BTCC star Jake Hill pulled out a superb last-gasp lap to qualify his Team HARD-run VW Passat CC 11th overall, and 5th fastest of the Independent drivers at Snetterton.
In the opening practice session early on Saturday morning, Hill set a solid lap time early on, but was forced to pit after only a handful of laps when the car developed a serious oil leak from the gearbox.
This required Hill’s TAG Racing crew to take not only the gearbox, but the engine out of the car....

Hill Ends Second BTCC Test Day on top
After narrowly missing out on being fastest at the end of day one at Snetterton, 23 year-old BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill. ended day two’s afternoon session on top, posting the fastest time on a tricky, drying circuit in his TAG Racing VW Passat CC.
Building on a superb session in the opening day, where Hill topped the times late on but was pipped by just 0.012 seconds by Jack Goff, Hill’s crew worked through countless changes in the morning session, getting a really solid level of data. Then shortly before lunch a thunderstorm flooded the circuit leaving the Norfolk track under-water!

Tough weekend but more points for Hill at Croft BTCC
On a difficult and emotional weekend for the whole Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship paddock, Jake Hill again showed strong pace and great race craft in his TAG Racing VW Passat CC, maintaining his record of scoring points at every BTCC race weekend in 2017.
A soaking wet Saturday saw tough conditions for all Team HARD's drivers, so going into qualifying it was always going to be challenging, with Hill initially in the top-ten but dropping to 18th overall as the Red Flag came out.

HILL RELISHING CROFT BTCC CHALLENGE
23 year-old BRDC 'Rising Star' Jake Hill heads to Croft for rounds 13 - 15 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship confident of building on his best-ever weekend last-time out at Oulton Park.
Hill has very fond memories of the North Yorkshire venue "I won my first ever race in Ginetta Junior here in 2009 and had a perfect weekend in 2010 with double win, pole and fastest lap, I made my debut in BTCC with Motorbase in 2013 and won the Jack Sears Trophy, and last year had one of my best BTCC races finishing 6th in race one. Qualifying a superb tenth, and charging to top-ten finishes in all three Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship races saw TAG Racing star Jake Hill record his best-ever weekend results.

HILL FLIES TO ANOTHER TOP-TEN BTCC QUALIFYING IN FRANTIC OULTON PARK SESSION
TAG Racing's Jake Hill once again showed impressive qualifying pace at Oulton Park today, taking his Team HARD-run VW Passat CC to a superb 10th overall in another close session.
With the two practice sessions being held in mixed conditions, Hill's crew went into qualifying with a car that was something of an unknown quantity, but having got a good balance in those sessions and at one of his favourite circuits Hill was confident of a strong performance.

Thruxton BTCC drama for Hill
23 year-old Goudhurst-based driver Jake Hill had a tough third race weekend at the high speed sweeps of Thruxton, but continued his points-scoring run with a very hard-earned 15th position in his TAG Racing VW Passat CC in the weekend’s final race.
Hill had showed promise in practice, taking 12th overall in both sessions, but along with his Team HARD team-mates Mike Epps and Will Burns was frustrated not to have improved on times set in practice, with Hill taking 24th on the grid but confident of making progress.

Hill relishing Thruxton’s high speed BTCC Challenge
After taking points in both the opening Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship meetings so far, BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill is ready for the challenge that is the fast, bumpy and demanding Thruxton circuit in Hampshire, and keen to build on the pace shown in testing there last week.

The opening weekend of the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship delivered a thrilling mixture of drama and unpredictability over qualifying and the three races at Brands Hatch, giving BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill his first points of the year.

At the ‘home of British motorsport’ the iconic Silverstone Circuit, Goudhurst driver Jake Hill built on his strong performances in practice and qualifying to take a very hard-earned 5th in round 25 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

Hill takes more BTCC points in Knockhill battle
On it’s annual trip north of the border to the twists and crests of the tight Knockhill circuit near Dunfermline, the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship saw battles in every race and more points for RCIB Insurance Racing’s top-scoring driver Jake Hill.

HILL TAKES TRIPLE POINTS SCORE AT SNETTERTON
In front of over 35,000 enthusiastic spectators at Snetterton in Norfolk this weekend (31st July) the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car charged back into action with some thrilling racing and heart-stopping accidents which thankfully everyone emerged from shaken but unharmed.
Keen to build on his superb top-six finish at Croft last-time out, BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill once again demonstrated pace and race-craft, taking points in all three races for the first time this year.

After qualifying a superb 11th for round 13 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Croft, 22 year-old BRDC Rising Star was aiming to improve on his best-ever result of 9th from the previous round at Oulton Park in his RCIB Insurance Racing Toyota Avensis.
A superb start and a chaotic first corner which saw Lloyd tangle with Turkington, Tordoff run wide, and Abbott and Morgan collide, Hill blasted past the pits at the end of the first lap already up to 7th place.
