HILL READY FOR ACTION
With the news that the second Trade Price Cars Racing Audi S3 is now also completed, both the team and their first signing for the 2019 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship Jake Hill are ‘ready for action’ - with their second driver due to be confirmed in the very near future.
“It’s been brilliant going the the AUTOSPORT show last month with everything already in place. The team have completed the build of both cars now, I have been focussing on being as prepared as possible, and most importantly finalising the programmes we have with our fabulous partners for 2019” said Hill.
“The engines arrive soon, so we will be ready to shake the cars down and will test at the end of February, with a very busy March ahead. The other driver confirmation is getting close now, but as Jake said one of the most important elements is the combination of partners we have on board” added AmD Tuning team principle Shaun Hollamby.
“I am so pleased to welcome back some amazing folks - Ecoflam, Danfoss and ABGO - who all have been with me for some time now, as have Bill Rawles Classic Cars, Scoria Tech, and Model World, plus Zynth, Spine Optics and Octane Hair. It means a huge amount that they are all continuing on this part of my BTCC journey with me. I’ve also got some great people joining me for the first time in 2019, including Lost Boys Motor Club, Smarttrams, UK Tram, CMC Civil Engineering, Seaton Tramway, Ocean Fire and Safety, Viaduct, plus Clapham North and Point CNC. We will also have a couple of other very exciting partners to announce very soon. Of course I’m also hugely grateful to Trade Price Cars and AmD for this opportunity to return to the BTCC. So with their support, and that of all of my partners we are in a really strong place” Hill added.
The team revealed their ‘interim’ livery at the NEC, but will have a final version revealed at the 2019 Kwik Fit BTCC Media Day at Brands Hatch next month.
“It will be fantastic to see what everyone thinks of the final 2019-edition livery, but most importantly I just know we are in a very strong place to hit the ground running”
