HILL AND WHEELER TAKE DOUBLE WIN IN BRANDS HATCH CSCC FINALE

At a greasy Brands Hatch and racing into the November darkness, Brisky Racing’s Richard Wheeler shared his bright yellow 1970 Lotus Elan, and his spectacular 275BHP Ford Fiesta with BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill, the duo proving to be the class of the field with both cars across three races at the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC) season finale.

HILL TAKES POINTS IN BRANDS BTCC FINALE

At the end of a frantic 30-race Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season at Brands Hatch, Subaru driver Ashley Sutton was crowned overall Champion after a tussle with BMW’s Colin Turkington. Meanwhile 23 year-old local hero Jake Hill, from nearby Goudhurst, once again starred in qualifying and took hard-earned points in the final race.
Finishing practice 7th, Hill’s TAG Racing crew worked to ensure the #24 machine was in top-form for qualifying, BRDC ‘Rising Star’ Hill charging to a spectacular 8th overall, the fifth time in ten events he had achieved this during the season. Hill Strong in BTCC Qualifying at Brands Hatch finale

Taking his fourth top-ten qualifying spot of the ten race Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, 23 year-old BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill swept his TAG Racing VW CC to a superb 8th overall at the Brands Hatch series finale.
Hill built on his 7th place in practice, and worked on improving the Team HARD-run machine, and in a chaotic session which started with rain falling, featured Red Flags for Brett Smith and Josh Cook’s incidents, saw race-winner Rob Collard withdraw on medical grounds, and mechanical dramas for championship contender Colin Turkington, Hill knew it would be tough to challenge at the front. HILL STORMS TO BEST-EVER BTCC QUALIFYING AT SILVERSTONE

After showing promise in free practice, TAG Racing’s Jake Hill put in a superb lap to place his Team HARD-run VW CC a storming 5th overall - his best-ever qualifying in his Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship career so far.

Rockingham’s unique challenge of part-oval and part twisty and abrasive tarmac provided TAG Racing’s Jake Hill with a real challenge in the latest Dunlop MSA BTCC event in Northamptonshire.
After a bruising encounter at Knockhill last time out, 23 year-old Hill was given a penalty after contact with Senna Proctor late on in the final race in Scotland, resulting in Hill having to start at the back of the grid for race one at Rockingham. TAG Racing’s BRDC ‘Rising Star’ Jake Hill returned to Dunlop MSA BTCC action in emphatic style after the six-week summer break, taking a season’s best P6 in race one, and scoring his best-ever haul of points across three races.

HILL STRONG IN SNETTERTON BTCC QUALIFYING

After a challenging start to the day, TAG Racing’s BTCC star Jake Hill pulled out a superb last-gasp lap to qualify his Team HARD-run VW Passat CC 11th overall, and 5th fastest of the Independent drivers at Snetterton.
In the opening practice session early on Saturday morning, Hill set a solid lap time early on, but was forced to pit after only a handful of laps when the car developed a serious oil leak from the gearbox. Hill Ends Second BTCC Test Day on top

After narrowly missing out on being fastest at the end of day one at Snetterton, 23 year-old BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill. ended day two’s afternoon session on top, posting the fastest time on a tricky, drying circuit in his TAG Racing VW Passat CC.
Building on a superb session in the opening day, where Hill topped the times late on but was pipped by just 0.012 seconds by Jack Goff, Hill’s crew worked through countless changes in the morning session, getting a really solid level of data. On a difficult and emotional weekend for the whole Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship paddock, Jake Hill again showed strong pace and great race craft in his TAG Racing VW Passat CC, maintaining his record of scoring points at every BTCC race weekend in 2017.

BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill experienced the highs and lows of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Donington today, putting in an outstanding performance to end practice P3 and P2 then qualify a career-best P6, only to later learn the car had failed the post-session scrutineering.

At the ‘home of British motorsport’ the iconic Silverstone Circuit, Goudhurst driver Jake Hill built on his strong performances in practice and qualifying to take a very hard-earned 5th in round 25 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

After qualifying a superb 11th for round 13 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Croft, 22 year-old BRDC Rising Star was aiming to improve on his best-ever result of 9th from the previous round at Oulton Park in his RCIB Insurance Racing Toyota Avensis.
