Hill Ready for BTCC Return
TAG Racing’s 23-year old BRDC Rising Star Jake Hill returns to Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Snetterton in Norfolk this weekend, buoyed by a strong performance at the circuit in testing earlier in the month.
“Testing went really well. We tried loads of different things and were really pleased with what we learned. Of course not everyone was testing, and it’s impossible to know if everyone was running their cars for optimum performance, but we ended up P2 on the first day, and fastest in the afternoon on day two” smiled Hill.
"TAG Racing, Rolec Racing, Brisky Racing, Danfoss and Ecoflam all have guests coming to Snetterton so we are determined to give them something to cheer about! My engineer Dan, my No.1 technician Ian, team manager Kingsley and Gavin, Ryan and all the boys on my #24 TAG Racing machine are all ready and raring to go. I had my first ever race in cars in Ginetta Junior in 2008 at Snetterton, I’ve won in Juniors, G50 and G55 here, and got in the points last year in BTCC - I love the circuit so I can’t wait to get out there. We shook the car down at Turweston Airfield today and that went smoothly so everything is set” Hill added.
Qualifying is live on itv.com/btcc at 3.45pm on Saturday 29th - with all three races LIVE on ITV4 HD (channel 120 on SkyTV) from 11am on Sunday 30th July.
