James Hammett with Jake Hill at last week’s AUTOSPORT International alongside Trade Price Cars Racing’s Audi S3 BTCC car
As the 2019-edition Trade Price Cars Racing Audi A3 was revealed at the AUTOSPORT International show this weekend, 24 year-old Jake Hill was delighted to showcase some of his all-important new partners that have joined him and the team for the upcoming British Touring Car Championship season.
The vibrant new livery bore the distinctive branding representing six organisations who will all support Hill during 2019.
Smarttrams Primary Partner James Hammett was excited to join Hill, having been a long-term follower of Hill's.
“Smarttrams are a relatively new but fast expanding company, and we feel the combination of Jake, the team, the fantastic car and the BTCC is a superb combination, and one we are really pleased to be part of.”
“I have followed Jake’s progress for some time now, and wanted to be part of his campaign, and now feel this is a perfect time to get on board. We are looking at a long-term association as BTCC is such a fantastic place to be, and we feel confident that Jake will be a front-runner this season and maybe a potential champion of the future.”
Alongside Smarttrams are CMC Civil Engineering, Ocean Fire & Security, Seaton Tramway, UK Tram and Viaduct, who are all entering into a BTCC partnership for the first time.
“It’s incredible to welcome everyone on board for our 2019 BTCC campaign. To have this in place at this stage of the year helps our preparations no end. I’m really excited to be working with everyone this season, and for them to be on what I know will be a really exciting journey with Trade Price Cars Racing. I am hugely appreciative of everyone’s support” said Hill.
Hill’s #24 machine will begin testing in late February.
“Cannot wait to see the car in action with our liveries on board” added Hammett.
