ROLEC ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL SERVICES JOIN JAKE HILL AND TEAM HARD FOR 2017 DUNLOP MSA BRITISH TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP CHALLENGE
One of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship’s most exciting young drivers, 22 year-old Jake Hill, will rejoin Team HARD this season, and is delighted to celebrate a new partnership with Rolec, one of the UK’s leading regional Electrical and Mechanical Contractors for their 2017 challenge.
Hill impressed in his first full season and is delighted to welcome Rolec as partners for his and Team HARD’s challenge in their VW Passat CC for this season.
“We had a really strong year and I’m excited to be back in the series, back with the team and to welcome Rolec on board for what will be a really interesting season” smiled Hill - pictured (above) at the team’s Kent premised with his 2017 machine.
Rolec managing director Dean Barrett commented on teaming up with Hill and Team HARD “We are an ambitious company with a real passion for technology and innovation. BTCC is fantastic racing, everyone knows how exciting and unpredictable it is, and in Jake we have a real star and a really great team in Team HARD as our partners”
Rolec will be represented across all three of the Team HARD VW Passat CC’s plus the team’s championship winning Ginetta GT4 GT machines and the VW Cup and VAG Trophy machines, emphasising how valuable the impact of an involvement in motorsport is for the company.
“Joining Team HARD gives Rolec involvement in several high profile series and the opportunity to promote our brand in different arenas. One of the main attractions is inviting our staff and clients to the events to enjoy the hospitality we can offer - really getting involved and being part of the action - we can’t wait and know it will be a lot of fun”
The Rolec logo will first be seen on the Team HARD BTCC cars at the Series Launch (Media Day) at Donington Park on 16th March.
“We can’t wait to see how it looks” added Dean Barrett.
